DR MICHAEL MCKINLEY

Michael McKinley has a doctorate in International Relations. His teaching, research, and writing encompasses work on global politics, global political economy, international terrorism, security issues in Australia's strategic environment, Australian and United States foreign policy and strategy, the Australia-US alliance, strategic theory, and philosophies of war and peace.

Since 1988 he has been Senior Lecturer in Global Politics at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the ANU.

DR BOB HUNTER

Dr Bob Hunter is the National President of Scientists for Global Responsibility (SGR) (Australia). He was instrumental in establishing the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at Sydney University and was a member of the National Consultative Committee on Peace and Disarmament for the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the late 1980s. He is Deputy Director of the Centre for the Human Aspects of Science and Technology. He is a Physical Chemist and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science. He was awarded the Order of Australia in the last Honours list.
